Sunshine Boutique was started in October 2013 by owner Krista Muhlenkamp, a former high school English teacher.  With a mission of creating a joyful environment, building confidence, and offering goods that are unique and personal, Sunshine has slowly grown over the last ten years.  

At its 10 year anniversary, Krista announced that Sunshine would be taking on a new look but with the same mission and values.  Transitioning into more of a gift boutique with an emphasis on the Jake David line, a line created in memory of Krista’s late son Jake who was killed in an ATV accident at the age of 15.  The line gives back 15% of its profit to individuals and families in need as well as local projects that are special and important to the surrounding communities.
